Thanks to the efforts of MSgt William Harwell and Lydia Carroll, Starting this year John Jay High School will be hosting the very 1st Annual John Jay Mustang Classic Post-High School Armed & Unarmed Drill Competition. This competition will include solo, dual (tandem) and four-man drill competition for armed drillers and will include dual (tandem) and four-man drill competition for unarmed drillers. The competition is intended for independent, college, military reserve and active-duty drillers. The Competition will take place on Saturday December 8th, 2012 @ John Jay High School located @ 7611 Marbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78227. The Deadline for registration, to include payment/entry fee, is: TBD. To “lock in” a performance time, payment is due by TBD as well. Payments will be accepted in person only
at 7611 Marbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78227 (John Jay High School). To ensure a strong competition arena, special accommodations can be made for traveling competitors. Entry Costs are as follows:$20- Solo (40’ x 40’)
$30- Dual (tandem) (40’ x 40’)
$60- Four-Man (50’ x 50’)
Solo and Dual sequences must be A minimum of (3) and no more than (5) minutes in length. A four-man sequence must be a minimum of (4) and no more than (6) minutes in length.Please plan to be at the competition boundaries at least 15 minutes before your scheduled performance time.
